My name is Francesca, but you can call me Fran.

My grandfather photographed the story of my family. The story of immigrants making & eating pasta in the basement (the only space in the house large enough to host all his loved ones).

The story of my mother growing up, all her different hairstyles, her wedding day, and even the day I came into this world.

He was an ordinary man, he didn’t call himself a photographer.

I carry on his legacy of documenting life.
