I’m resisting the urge to fast forward, the urge to go fast[er].
Living in a world that teaches us to be scared of pause and silence. A world that sometimes makes it hard to have your own thoughts and feelings.
I’m resisting the urge to blend into the background, the urge to mass produce feelings.
I’m resisting because I’m making space for others to join and feel with me, as they make space for me.
I’m resisting because I believe in the power of thoughtfulness and kindness.
I believe we need time to really see each other.
I believe human feelings need space and time to grow.
I believe some of us are healing.
We are the human emotion resistance.
